What is reiki
Universal Life Force Energy: Reiki translates to "Universal Life Force Energy." It is a gentle healing modality that works with the subtle energy flow within and around the body. This practice is rooted in the understanding that all living things are composed of energy—an idea reflected across cultures, from the concept of Qi in Chinese medicine to Prana in Indian philosophy.
Restoring the Flow: Much like a river flowing around a stone, our internal energy pathways can become disrupted. The cumulative stress of daily life, significant transitions, illness, or chronic pain can create "blockages" that lead to a sense of imbalance. When these pathways are restricted, we often feel depleted or out of sync with our natural state.
The Role of the Practitioner: as a Reiki practitioner, I act as a conduit for this life force energy. Through a light, non-invasive touch and a focused intention, I facilitate the flow of energy through your system. This process encourages your body’s innate healing abilities, allowing your energy pathways to return to a state of balance and resonance.
Reiki should be used in conjunction with conventional medicine.
