My path to founding Vital Spark Healing began with my work as a coach, both swimming and figure skating as well as business owner of a swimming school. As a native of Madison, Wisconsin, and later during 21 years in Colorado, my life was defined by the pursuit of flow, technique, and discipline. Whether I was teaching swimming or skating or running my own swim school,the  goal was always alignment.

I realized early on that if the foundation isn't right—if the energy is blocked or the mechanics are off—no amount of effort can create the necessary balance.

During my time in Colorado, I began exploring energy therapy as a way to support my own high-pressure lifestyle. What I discovered changed everything. I saw that true health wasn't just about "doing" more; it was about being in a state where healing is possible.

Today, as a Usui Ryoho Reiki Master who is certified in Holistic and Integrative Health, I combine the intuitive wisdom of energy work with the grounded wisdom of integrative health. In my work as a Reiki Practitioner and my Health Strategy by Design program, I strive to help others find the same peace and balance I discovered on my journey.

I am continually amazed by the simplicity and beauty of Reiki Therapy. It has its own wisdom, and so does your body. When we work together, Reiki serves as the essential first step: it clears the mental and energetic "clutter" that keeps you stuck, quiets the noise, and opens the path for true change.

But clarity is only half the journey. While Reiki opens the door, Health Strategy by Design provides the map. I offer a step-by-step approach to incorporate lifelong habits—building a healthier, more peaceful foundation for your day-to-day life.
